§ Mr. FisherThe European Agricultural Settlement Trust was established under local legislation. The British Government have no responsibility for the appointment of the trustees nor for the financing of its operations.
§ Sir A. HurdIs not this the body which is looking after the settlement of the 1 million acres and any further land which, we understand, is now to be allocated for resettlement? If not, has the body been renamed? Can my hon. Friend tell us about the future of this body, which the Government are financing?
§ Mr. FisherI think that the body referred to by my hon. Friend in his Question is the European Settlement Board which was discussed earlier, arising from the Question asked earlier today by the right hon. and learned Member for Rowley Regis and Tipton (Mr. A. Henderson).
