Resolution reported,
That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to empower the Minister of Education to make provision by order (otherwise than in accordance with section 89 of the Education Act 1944) with respect to the remuneration of teachers, and for purposes connected therewith, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any increase attributable to the said Act of the present Session in the sums payable by way of Rate-deficiency Grant or Exchequer Equalisation Grant under the enactments relating to local government in England and Wales or in Scotland.
