§ 33. Mr. Sorensenasked the Lord Privy Seal what communications or representations he has received from the Government of the South African Republic concerning the alleged hostile action of persons residing, in Bechuanaland, Basutoland and Swaziland or who have fled to those territories from the Republic.
§ Mr. SorensenDo I gather from what the right hon. Gentleman has said that he has no information at all, direct or indirect, regarding these allegations by certain South African Government spokesmen that hostile action of this kind has been undertaken or is intended for the future? Can we have a further assurance that any political refugees in the Protectorate will not be returned to the South African Government?
§ Mr. HeathBoth of those questions are for my right hon. Friend the Colonial Secretary to deal with, and I understand that there are Questions to him on the Order Paper for tomorrow about those matters.
