§ 9. Mr. W. Hamiltonasked the Minister of Labour how many new employment exchanges he proposes to open in Scotland in the next financial year; and how many will be opened in the first six months of 1963.
§ Mr. HareI have no plans at present for opening new employment exchanges in Scotland in the next financial year. So far in 1963 I have opened one new employment exchange and three new sub-offices. I will, of course, consider opening additional local offices wherever a need is established.
§ Mr. HamiltonIs this part of the Government's plan to move offices out of London as far as possible?
§ Mr. HareAs I understood the question, the hon. Member wanted to know whether I proposed opening new employment exchanges. That is the question I have answered.
