§ Mr. G. M. ThomsonAs the Government gave an undertaking to seek your permission, Mr. Speaker, to answer Question No. 75—on the caning of trade unionists in Aden—at the end of Question Time today, may I ask whether you have received any such request? If not, may I seek your guidance on how the House can make sure that undertakings are honoured by the Government?
§ Mr. SpeakerI have received no such request. That means that from my point of view the Question cannot be answered. I do not think that the rest of the matter is for me.
