Mr. Sorensenasked the President of the Board of Trade in view of the apprehension of umbrella manufacturers in this country at the prospect of unfair competition between British manufacturers and Japanese importers of umbrellas into this country, whether he has now received a further deputation on this matter from representatives of this industry subsequent to his meeting with representatives of the industry on 15th August, 1961.
