Resolution reported, That, for the purposes of any Act of this Session to make further provision as to road safety and road traffic, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (a) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any expenses incurred by the Minister of Transport or the Secretary of State in placing, maintaining, lighting or removing obstructions on roads;
  2. (b) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any expenses incurred by the Minister of Transport in connection with arrangements for compiling and maintaining a register of approved driving instructors;
  3. (c) any increase attributable to the said Act in the sums payable out of moneys provided by Parliament or payable into the Exchequer under any enactment relating to traffic signs, including any enactment authorising the making of grants or loans in connection with traffic signs;

  5. (d) any increase attributable to the said Act in the sums payable out of moneys provided by Parliament by way of Rate-deficiency Grant or Exchequer Equalisation Grant under the enactments relating to local government in England and Wales or in Scotland; and
  6. (e) the payment into the Exchequer of any sums received by the Minister of Transport under the said Act.
