§ 14. Mr. G. M. Thomsonasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies if he will state, in respect of the prison at 1129 Aden, how many male prisoners, female prisoners, and lunatics it at present contains; and what are the plans for building new and separate institutional accommodation for these groups.
§ Mr. H. Fraser305 males, 5 females and 72 lunatics. It is hoped that work on a new prison for male and female prisoners and a mental hospital will begin towards the end of the year.
