HC Deb 04 July 1962 vol 662 c540
33. Sir Richard Pilkington

asked the Minister of Transport how many protests he has received from Dorset against the proposed cutting of such local railway services as have been the subject of recommendations to him from the Central Transport Consultative Committee.

Mr. Hay

None, Sir. The Central Transport Consultative Committee have been considering no proposals for withdrawing railway services in Dorset.

Sir Richard Pilkington

Is my hon. Friend aware that there are a good many in the pipeline which he will get?

Mr. Hay

I answered the Question on the Order Paper. The Central Transport Consultative Committee has been considering no proposals. As my right hon. Friend said, no one can yet see what the future will be with certainty, and I would not, therefore, like to say whether there are any in the pipeline or not.
