§ Mr. N. MacphersonWe are negotiating for the sale of this factory to I.C.I., Ltd., but it will be for the company itself to issue any further information about its production plans when it is ready to do so.
§ Mr. RodgersIs the Parliamentary Secretary aware of the very real concern felt locally about the long delay in selling the factory and completing the contract, and can he give an assurance that when the factory is open it will provide as many jobs as it did at the beginning of 1960, when there were over 600 people employed there?
§ Mr. MacphersonI am not certain of that, but I can say that it will ultimately provide more jobs than were provided by the previous occupants.
