If so, will he tell us now whether Mr. Khrushchev endorsed his own suggestion that following the settlement of the Cuban problem the way is now open to a general arrangement on armaments, and especially an earlier nuclear test ban treaty?
§ The Prime MinisterAs this message was not transmitted over the radio but given to me by private letter, I did not think it right for me to publish it. It was a long letter and I was glad to get it, but I do not intend to go into detail over this matter.
