Lords Amendment: In page 7, line 10, leave out "three" and insert "seven".

I beg to move. That this House doth agree with the Lords in the said Amendment.

I suggest, Mr. Speaker, that this Amendment and the next one be taken together. Both are drafting Amendments consequential on an Amendment made in this House to Clause 8 (1) increasing from three to seven days the length of notice to be given to an Offender letting him know the classes of person in respect of whom a deportation order may be made; that is, before the court can possibly give sentence.
