Motion made, and Question.
That as from the tenth day of April, 1962, the duties of customs charged on matches by section four of the Finance Act. 1951, shall

in the case of matches of Convention area origin (within the meaning of the European Free Trade Association Act, 1960) be charged at the rate of 19s. 7d. (instead of 19s. lid.) per 10,000 matches in containers in which there are not more than 30 matches, and at the rate of 14s. Id. (instead of 14s. 5d.) per 7,200 matches in containers in which there are more than 30 matches.
And it is hereby declared that it is expedient in the public interest that this Resolution should have statutory effect under the provisions of the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1913.—[Mr. Lloyd.]
