§ Mr. Selwyn LloydThe Development Assistance Group has now become the Development Assistance Committee of the O.E.C.D. The rôle of the new Organisation in encouraging the provision of capital to under-developed countries is described in the communiqué issued on 17th November, which I have said is being circulated in the OFFICIAL REPORT. Our own governmental aid expenditure is running at about £180 million this year, as compared with £150 million last year.
