§ 37. Mr. Pavittasked the Minister of Health how many emergency night call services for general practitioners are now operating.
§ Mr. PowellI know of four.
§ Mr. PavittIs it not time that the Ministry had a policy with regard to emergency night services for general practitioners? If these are good things, ought not the Minister to sponsor them through local executive councils so that they can be organised by the medical profession? If they are bad, should not the Ministry make a statement to that effect?
§ Mr. PowellI agree that some form of control is necessary, and I am considering with the profession what form it could best take.
