asked the Postmaster-General what plans he has for reducing postal rates.

In view of the apparent lack of a plan to reduce the postal rates generally, will the hon. Lady have another look at the system which is operated in America?

§ Miss Pike
I am advised that it is worse than ours.

§ Mr. Bowles
May I ask the hon. Lady whether Christmas cards can be sent this year for 2d. instead of 2½d.? I think it would make a lot of difference.
