§ Mr. Iain MacleodI have nothing to add to the reply made on this subject by the then Minister of State for Commonwealth Relations on 5th April, 1960.
§ Mr. WallDoes not my right hon. Friend agree that probably the best solution might be found within the context of an East African Federation? Will he discuss this matter when he goes to East Africa next week? Will he visit Zanzibar?
§ Mr. MacleodI shall visit Zanzibar, and it may be that this will come up in discussions; but it is a matter which will have to be resolved at some time in the future. I am inclined to agree with my hon. Friend that this and many other problems in East Africa could be more easily solved in the context of federation.
