§ 28. Mr. Langford-Holtasked the Minister of Transport what is causing the delay in giving a date for the commencement of the new link road between Monkmoor and Ditherington, Shrewsbury; and what grant will be made towards its construction.
§ Mr. MarplesI am proposing to invite the Shrewsbury Borough Council to include this scheme as a Class II road in their classified road programme for 1961–62. I shall be writing to the council within the next week or so. The scheme will attract a 60 per cent. grant but it is too soon to say precisely what the amount of the grant will be.
