asked the Minister of Transport what further improvements are planned for the road B.4055 between Barry and Cardiff via Dinas-Powis.

Mr. Marples

I am considering proposals by the Glamorgan County Council for three major improvement schemes and I hope to announce my decision very soon. I am advised that work will start on a further widening scheme at Eastbrook as soon as the land has been acquired by the highway authority.

Mr. Gower

Can my right hon. Friend say at what parts of the road the other two improvements are contemplated?

I should like notice of that question.
