§ 34. Mr. McInnesasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he is now in a position to indicate the location of another new town to deal with Glasgow's overspill population.
§ Mr. GalbraithMy right hon. Friend has at the moment nothing to add to the reply which he gave to the hon. Member on this subject on 19th May, but hopes to be able to make a statement in the near future.
§ Mr. McInnesIs the hon. Gentleman aware that the need for this new town is not in dispute, but for the past two years I have been seeking to get some indication from him as to its location? Why this unwarrantable delay? What does he mean when he says, "My right hon. Friend will give a statement shortly"?
§ Mr. GalbraithI mean exactly what I say.
