HC Deb 19 July 1961 vol 644 c1255
Mr. Pargiter

I wish, Mr. Speaker, to make a personal statement.

Arising from my Question of 5th June in regard to Mr. Frederick Beezley, and the Written Answer to it by the Attorney-General, and the subsequent allegations made in the House on 7th June that I had made false and unjustifiable accusations against Mr. Beezley, who, at the material time, was employed in the Department of the Director of Public Prosecutions, I wish to say that on the evidence available to me I am satisfied that I had good reason to put down this Question. I did so in complete good faith.

I am prepared to submit to the Attorney-General further material available to me.
