asked the Minister of Power by how much the pithead price of coal has risen since nationalisation; and what percentage of this rising price has been due to increased wages for the miners.

Mr. Wood

On average, proceeds from sales at the pithead have risen by 45s. 5d. a ton. About 46 per cent. of this represents increased labour costs.
