§ 41. Mr. Prenticeasked the Prime Minister whether he will go to New York in March to attend the resumed meeting of the General Assembly of the United Nations.
§ The Prime MinisterI have nothing to add to what I said on 2nd February.
§ Mr. PrenticeWhile appreciating the importance of the Commonwealth Prime Ministers' Meeting, which clashes with the General Assembly, may I ask whether it now seems possible that there will be a converging of world leaders on New York in March, as there was in the 208 autumn? Will the right hon. Gentleman see that the British delegation is led by a senior Minister, and still keep open the possibility of going himself?
§ The Prime MinisterAll these considerations have to be borne in mind. The calendar gets rather overcharged with these possible meetings, but I will keep in mind what the hon. Gentleman says.
