§ Mr. WarbeyOn a point of order, Mr. Speaker. You gave a Ruling just now which I should be grateful if you would be kind enough to clarify, or, perhaps, with respect, consider again at some other time. I understood you to rule that it was not in order during Question Time to quote verbatim from official documents. As this would be a rather 940 severe limitation, I wonder whether that could be reconsidered, and whether you would perhaps give us another Ruling on it after you have given it further consideration?
§ Mr. SpeakerThe whole process of quoting verbatim is out of order in Questions. I have not the exact proposition at the moment, but it is in the region of page 360 of Erskine May.
