asked the Minister of Labour how many young people are on the books of the Ashington Junior Labour Exchange; what action is being taken to assist them in finding employment; and whether he will make a statement.

Twenty-nine boys and 23 girls were registered as unemployed at Ashington Youth Employment Office on 11th December, 1961. The youth employment officer is making every effort to place them in suitable employment.
