asked the Civil Lord of the Admiralty what further steps have been taken in the provision of new living accommodation for the artificer apprentices at H.M.S. "Caledonia".

The designing of this accommodation has been proceeding as planned, and is making good progress.

Mr. Willis

Can the hon. Gentleman say whether he intends now to keep his promise to proceed to rebuild all this accommodation next year?

Mr. Orr-Ewing

I see no reason to change the forecast which I gave earlier this year.
