Friend aware that the orderly marketing of barley can come about only if the growers and the merchants co-operate more and that, if this happens, we could have a better price for our barley which would lower the subsidy on barley, a fact which would be very welcome to his right hon. and learned Friend this afternoon?
§ Mr. SoamesI hope that this new scheme will make a considerable contribution to the more orderly marketing of barley.
