Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to amend the law with respect to the powers of courts in respect of young offenders and to make further provision as to the treatment of prisoners and other persons committed to custody, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any increase attributable to provisions of the said Act of the present Session in the sums payable under any other enactment out of moneys so provided, and of any sums required by the Secretary of State for the payment of remuneration and allowances to members of Recall Boards constituted for purposes of the said Act of the present Session and for defraying the expenses of such Boards.—[Mr. Vosper.]
