Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to provide for the appointment of additional judges of the High Court and Court of Appeal and to make further provision with respect to the pensions of certain judicial officers, it is expedient to authorise any increase in the sums payable under any enactment out of the Consolidated Fund or out of moneys provided by Parliament which is attributable to any provisions of the said Act—

  1. (a) increasing the maximum number of puisne judges of the High Court or of ordinary judges of the Court of Appeal, or
  2. (b) amending the provisions relating to the pensions of stipendiary magistrates, of persons holding any of the offices specified in Part I of the Third Schedule to the Supreme Court of Judicature (Consolidation) Act, 1925, or of the Judge Advocate General.—[The Solicitor-General.]
