§ Mr. MaudlingIt has been and will continue to be the practice that assistance under the Distribution of Industry Acts and under the Local Employment Act is covered by contractual agreements. Agreements under which assistance was given by the Board of Trade or by the Treasury before the coming into force of the Local Employment Act are preserved by the provisions of Section 28 of that Act.
