Mr. Spriggsasked the Minister of Labour if he has completed his discussions with the British Transport Commission upon the number and location of locomotive sheds which will be required for future motive power; and how he intends to bring in the operation of Section 25 of the Factories Act, 1959.
§ Mr. P. ThomasMy Department is continuing its discussions with the British Transport Commission about the application of the Factories Acts to railway running sheds. It is hoped to bring Section 25 of the 1959 Act into operation next year.
