§ Miss PikeI think that, as the hon. and learned Member realises, the history of this nation is so rich in heroes and 392 out literature is so rich in great men that it would be very difficult and very invidious to try to find which heroes to commemorate. I am sure that the hon. Member's hon. Friend the Member for South Ayrshire (Mr. Emrys Hughes) will agree that " Every craw thinks its ain bird the whitest".
