HC Deb 03 May 1960 vol 622 c875
34. Mr. Janner

asked the President of the Board of Trade what steps he proposes to take to decide priorities as regards the reduction of Eire tariffs on goods exported to Eire from the United Kingdom, in accordance with the arrangements made under the new Anglo-Eire Trade Agreement.

The President of the Board of Trade (Mr. Reginald Maudling)

The order of priority in which the Government of the Republic of Ireland will take up items for the purpose of the review will be settled in consultation between the two Governments. United Kingdom industries which are interested should get in touch with my Department.
