I beg to move, That this House calls upon Her Majesty's Government to reaffirm the nation's decision, as laid down in the Education Act of 1944, that all children shall receive education in school to the age of sixteen; to name a date within the next decade for the raising of the school-leaving age; and to make plans for the provision of the extra teachers and classrooms necessary for this purpose—
