§ 2. Mr. H. Clarkasked the Minister of Works what would be the cost of preparing the soil and resowing the grass in the Cloister Court of the Palace of Westminster.
§ The Minister of Works (Lord John Hope)About £80. But this Courtyard has been returfed a number of times in the last few years, it gets no sunlight and the grass will not grow. I therefore propose, with the agreement of the Palace authorities, to replace grass by paving. The work is due to be carried out in the Long Recess.
§ Mr. ClarkMay I thank my right hon. Friend for his reply and say how entirely I agree with the solution which he has arrived at?
