asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he is aware of the concern in the Channel Islands regarding the long delays which occur in the delivery there of exports from the United Kingdom; and whether he will use his good offices to overcome these difficulties.

I am not aware of any delays in deliveries to the Channel Islands. If my hon. Friend is referring to shipping delays, he may wish to put a Question to my right hon. Friend the Minister of Transport.
