Mr. Parkinasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he will consider the publication of an annual social survey, on the lines of the Economic Survey and the Defence White Paper, in order that policy and achievements of the social services can be debated as a co-ordinated whole before the discussion of departmental estimates.
