HC Deb 27 January 1960 vol 616 cc143-4
15. Captain Pilkington

asked the Minister of Transport whether, in order to impress on motorists and pedestrians the errors which most frequently cause road deaths, he will publish with the monthly statements of accidents the approximate percentages of what he considers were the main errors causing these tragedies.

The Joint Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Transport (Mr. John Hay)

I have arranged for summaries of the tables analysing the actions of persons concerned in fatal and serious road accidents to be prepared each month and the main points incorporated in the monthly Press statement.
