§ 2. Mr. Liptonasked the Minister of Aviation when he now expects delivery of Skybolt.
§ Mr. RipponThe weapon is still in the development stage, but delivery to the R.A.F. is planned for the mid-sixties.
§ Mr. LiptonWhen will the Government admit that Skybolt is a dead duck and should be scrapped forthwith? Even if the Minister has not, has the Parliamentary Secretary asked to see a copy of the Report which the President-elect of the United States, Mr. Kennedy, had from the committee of experts in which very grave doubts were expressed on whether it was worth while to pursue this development at all?
§ Mr. RipponI intend to make no such admission. The project is going according to plan.
