asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he will make available to the German Federal Agency for the Investigation of Nazi crimes the records of the investigations of war criminals conducted by the British Military Administration during the occupation.

Mr. R. Allan

My right hon. and learned Friend will certainly do all he can to help this Agency if it applies for information on investigations of war criminals conducted by the British Military Administration during the occupation of Germany.

Mrs. Castle

I thank the hon. Gentleman for that reply, but does not he agree that this is another case where documents of this kind which are of wide international interest ought to be placed under the control and care of the United Nations? Will he ask his right hon. and learned Friend whether he has given to this suggestion of mine the thought which he promised to give last week?

I know that my right hon. and learned Friend is considering that.
