HC Deb 16 November 1959 vol 613 c786
25. Mr. Cordle

asked the Minister of Aviation what is his policy with regard to the placing of contracts with de Havillands, having regard to the uncertainty that now prevails over the continuance of the de Havilland factory at Christchurch.

The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Aviation (Mr. Geoffrey Rippon)

This factory is mainly engaged on the production of Sea Vixens for the Royal Navy. The question of a follow-on order is now being considered.
