Friend aware that this disaster, in which several hundred people met a terrible death and which is causing great suffering to many thousands, met with widespread sympathy in this country and, I dare say, in this House? Will my hon. Friend see that that is conveyed to the legislators of the States concerned?
§ Mr. AllanHer Majesty's Government formally, and my right hon. and learned Friend personally, expressed sympathy to the Mexican Government. Knowing how well respected my hon. Friend is in Mexico, I have no doubt that his words will be warmly received there.
