Mr. Ellis Smithasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government and Minister for Welsh Affairs what consideration has been given by the Clean Air Council, under Section 23 of the Clean Air Act, to the proceedings of the international Clean Air Conference held in London during October; and what action he has taken to draw to the attention of local authorities the suggestions made by other countries and the lessons to be learnt from their experience.
§ Sir K. JosephThe full proceedings are not available yet, but my right hon. Friend is bringing to the notice of the Clean Air Council the papers presented to the Conference. Many local authorities were represented at the conference, 196 but he will consider, with the Council, whether there is any information which might with advantage be circulated to all authorities.
