asked the Postmaster-General when the Report of the Television Advisory Committee appointed by him will be made available to hon. Members.

I am not yet able to say. I have not yet received the Report, but I repeat my promise to lay a copy in the Library as soon as I receive it.

Can the right hon. Gentleman inform the House whether the question of a third television channel has been referred to the Television Advisory Committee?

Without notice, I am not sure what its terms of reference are, but generally speaking it is going into the problem of line definition, including colour, and the necessary measures required to carry that out.
