HC Deb 06 March 1959 vol 601 c839

Motion made, and Question proposed, That this House do now adjourn.—[Mr. Whitelaw.]

3.59 p.m.

Dr. Horace King (Southampton, lichen)

I wish to make clear that the young man whose case raises the very important issue which I propose to discuss in this debate wishes to have no part in it and, indeed, would rather that I had not raised it. This is the first time I have spoken of the B.B.C. in this House and I wish to begin by expressing my admiration of the services rendered to Britain by the British Broadcasting Corporation—

It being Four o'clock, the Motion for the Adjournment of the House lapsed without Question put.
