Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of this Session to amend the Fire Services Act, 1947, and make further provision as to the pensions of persons transferring to or from the fire service and as to members of fire brigades becoming temporary instructors in training establishments, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (a) any increase attributable to the said Act of this Session in the sums payable out of moneys provided by Parliament under any other enactment;
  2. (b) the payment into the Exchequer of any sums that may be required to be so paid by any rules made by virtue of the said Act under section two of the Superannuation (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1948.—[Miss Hornsby-Smith.]
