§ Sir W. Anstruther-GrayWhile thanking my hon. Friend for that reply, may I ask whether he will bear in mind that fly-overs are much safer than roundabouts and, therefore, as a long-term policy they are obviously a good thing to aim at?
§ Mr. MacphersonI will certainly bear that in mind. Fly-overs will be constructed where they are justified, but they are more expensive and one has to have regard to the economic position as well as the physical conditions and the traffic I hat requires to use them.
