§ Dame Irene WardWhilst thanking my hon. Friend for that comment, may I ask him if he will indicate that the Government would welcome action on the part of the electricity and gas undertakings, having regard to the fact that we now have the Pensions (Increase) Bill for other Crown servants?
§ Sir I. HorobinThe Bill is still before the House, and the primary duty lies with the two Councils, but the Government will, of course, expeditiously consider any proposals which come to them.
