asked the President of the Board of Trade whether he will make a further statement on the membership of the committee to consider the question of the protection of the consuming public.

There is one more acceptance to be received and I hope to announce the full membership next week.

Is the President of the Board of Trade aware that this is encouraging news? Can we now assume that the committee will be called and will meet before the Summer Recess?

I think it is Mr. Molony's wish to have a meeting before the end of this month.
