§ Mr. Vaughan-MorganYes, Sir. As my right hon. Friend told the hon. Member for Newcastle-under-Lyme (Mr. Swingler) on 29th January, we have suggested to a number of firms that they might go to North Staffordshire.
§ Mr. DaviesI am grateful to the Minister for his reply, and in North Staffordshire we appreciate the interest taken by the Board of Trade, but I hope that when the opportunity comes special attention will be given to this area, which has growing unemployment.
§ Mr. Vaughan-MorganIn the last 18 months we have suggested North Staffordshire to more than a dozen firms as an area which should be considered.
